Located on the far western side of St. Louis County, Missouri, the area of known as Wildwood was officially incorporated as a city in 1995. Two hundred years prior – and nine years before the Lewis & Clark Expedition – Americans took advantage of Spanish land grant offers to settle this area. Over the years, eleven different communities grew up centered around rural Post Offices, that came together to form the city we call Wildwood.
